Content marketing plan
NovaTech sells a small catalog, so our content has to do the explaining a salesperson would do in a store: what to look for, what to avoid, and which product fits.
Canadian college and university students, aged 18–24, who rely on a phone and laptop all day and want dependable accessories on a student budget.
Young professionals and hybrid workers, aged 22–35, building a portable home-and-office setup who value compatibility and fast charging.
“Smart gear. Better everyday.” Practical tech accessories, explained clearly and sold honestly, with no hype and no clutter.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and plain-spoken. We explain specs in everyday terms, give honest trade-offs, and never overstate what a product does.

Publishing rhythm
Each post is 150–200 words, ends with a link to a relevant product, and is shared on social media the day it goes live. Upcoming topics: earbud battery care, choosing a smartwatch for fitness, and protecting your phone on a budget.
How we measure it
Organic search visits, blog-to-product click-through rate, add-to-cart rate from blog visitors, and social shares per post. Once the store is live, these would be tracked through Google Search Console and consent-based analytics.
Search engine optimization
Every page was reviewed against the checklist below. Primary keyword focus: tech accessories Canada, supported by product keywords such as wireless earbuds, power bank, smartwatch, and USB-C hub.
| Check | Status | How it is implemented |
|---|---|---|
| Unique meta title on every page | Done | Keyword first, brand last, about 60 characters or fewer (for example “Shop Tech Accessories: Earbuds, Power Banks & Hubs | NovaTech”). |
| Unique meta description | Done | About 130–150 characters, including the page keyword and a reason to click. |
| Keyword usage | Done | Target keywords appear in the H1, the opening copy, product names and descriptions, and blog headings without keyword stuffing. |
| Descriptive image alt text | Done | All six product images have alt text naming the product and its key feature; decorative copies use empty alt text. |
| One H1 and logical headings | Done | Each page has a single H1 followed by H2 and H3 sections. |
| Canonical URLs | Done | rel="canonical" on every indexable page prevents duplicate-URL issues. |
| Social sharing metadata | Done | Open Graph and Twitter Card tags with a 1200 Ă— 630 share image. |
| Structured data | Done | JSON-LD OnlineStore on the home page and a Product list with CAD prices on the products page. |
| Sitemap and robots.txt | Done | sitemap.xml lists the indexable pages and robots.txt points to it. Cart and checkout pages are marked noindex. |
| Internal linking | Done | Each blog guide links to the related product; navigation and footer link every key page. |
| Mobile-friendly and fast | Done | Responsive layout, a viewport tag, lightweight SVG images with set dimensions, and no third-party scripts outside checkout. |
